South Africa will always hold a special place in my heart. From my first trip to Johannesburg to my 4 month stay in Durban. Just looking at this necklace reminds me of some of my favorite memories. The crazy thing about studying abroad is how much it can impact the rest of your life. South Africa has shaped my life in so many ways: my interest in public health, my thesis topic, my career goals.  What I love about this necklace is the heart is so close to Durban.
