Fresh Cut Flowers

It finally feels like spring time here in St. Louis.  This past weekend it was absolutely beautiful!  My dad and stepmom came to visit and we had a blast enjoying the Soulard Farmer's Market, some fantastic BBQ at Bogarts Smokehouse, and delicious crepes at Crepes Etc.  Now that it's warming up and sunny again I'm feeling alive.  I want to frolic in fields of flowers and spend hours just enjoy being outside.  Unfortunately, law school makes it challenging to enjoy this beautiful weather. Since anything that isn't a cactus seems to struggle in my apartment long-term, I've been inspired to bring the spring inside by buying fresh cut flowers from the farmer's market to add some color into my apartment.

I love the pussy willows in the watering can and fresh daffodils on my coffee table.  I think I'll pick up some tulips next time I go to the farmer's market.  How do you bring the outside in?
