Lately I've been drawn to wearing mostly neutrals with one statement piece.  The moment I open my closet door I find myself reaching for white, black, or chambray.  But before I leave the house, I throw on something that catches my eye.  Today was the perfect day to wear my favorite smoking slippers.  I love the texture and pattern on this pair.  They remind me of the beautiful kilim rugs I wish I could have brought home from Istanbul.  Aren't they perfect for adding a little something something to an otherwise basic ensemble?
