In 5 weeks Steve and I will be moving into our new place.  Really what that means is that I'll be posting A TON of home inspiration posts between now and then.  Today I'll be sharing the style ideas I've been envying for my future apartment bedroom.  In the past I've posted about bedspreads and bedroom decor because who doesn't daydream about a cozy place to curl up.  However, that was when my bedroom was just for me.  Moving in with a boyfriend requires a little more compromise. One of the big challenges is finding harmony between Steve and I's individual styles.  He's more of a minimalist and likes to keep things simple and understated.  I do love an airy space but I also have a tendency to be drawn towards bright colors and all things shiny.  Here are a few ideas for keeping us both happy.

 

I love the combo of navy and gray.  That quilt is perfection and I love the mix of pillows.

So here's what I'm envisioning: A white duvet, a bright kantha quilt, and some beautiful wooden furniture.  So pretty right?
