It's almost time for a New England fall!

Although it's still pretty warm in Maine and the leaves haven't started changing yet, the crisp fall mornings are getting me excited for apple cider and long walks on the quad. Oh, and of course BOOTS! As a Batesie, boots are the ultimate wardrobe staple. Not only do they fit into the hipster/hippie/prep vibe we have going here, but they also are super functional. They work well in the fall and transition perfectly into the winter. A good pair of leather boots with waterproof protection can handle milder winter days while a solid pair of L.L Bean boots can make the rough treks between classes in several feet of snow a little more bearable. But until then, I'm going to enjoy wearing fall boots like these ones. Here are my top 10 favorite fall boots!
